This was my first frame-up project bike, so I wanted to replace everything regardless of if it needed it or not. I think the crankset is the only original piece. Learning to press the headset at home, and replace Bottom Bracket bearings, hub bearings, etc. was my favorite part. The Surly fork shortens up the handling a bit but is very fun and responsive to ride!
