This is the first bike build by my son Johann and me, Carsten, for Artisan Bike Society, our little project to rebuild rare and beautiful 26“ steel bikes in north-western Germany. Johann is currently trained as a bike mechanic for vsf Fahrradmanufaktur while I am a 26“ enthusiast since the 1980s, doing the rebuilds as a compensation after office work.
